In Vivo Mass Spectrometry: Profiling Bacterial Colonies with the LAESI DP-1000 System

Professor Ron Heeren, Ph.D. (FOM-AMOLF) will present a webinar on the use of the LAESI DP-1000 system as a new tool for native biomarker profiling and discovery for in vivo sample analysis. In this webinar, Prof. Heeren will discuss how LAESI-MSI analysis allows researchers to obtain a direct representation of a living population by analyzing the biodynamics of molecules as they are in living samples at the point of analysis, without any sample handling. Participants will discover how this ambient ionization technique has also facilitated the identification and characterization of biomolecules in living cells at ambient pressures. This webinar is one in a series we will be presenting this spring around the imaging capabilities at Protea.
