ZincPlus™ Stain kit

Product Overview
ZincPlus Stain Kits reagents are used to stain one- or two-dimensional gels following SDS-PAGE. The ZincPlus Stain is a negative stain, which produces a whitish opaque background in the gel, while the protein bands themselves remain unstained. The inherent benefit of a negative stain is that the protein band does not contain any dye or stain to present as a contaminant for downstream sample processing and analysis. ZincPlus Stain Kit is a fast and reversible method for visualizing proteins separated on polyacrylamide gels. The ZincPlus Stain has a detection limit of ~5 ng of protein, and the entire staining process is completed within 15 minutes. Unlike most stains, ZincPlus Stain does not require a fixation step, which leaves the proteins unaffected for downstream processing.
