Product Overview
The Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) ProteaTip Sample Prep Kit, 10-200 µL contains tips and reagents for enrichment of phosphopeptides from protein digest samples. The reagent solutions supplied with Protea’s TiO2 Sample Prep Kits are specially formulated to maximize the retention of phosphorylated peptides, while simultaneously minimizing the retention of non-phosphorylated peptides.

The SP-125-24 kit contains 24 TiO2 ProteaTips for 10-200 µL volumes, 25 mL TiO2 Reconstitution and Wash 1 Solution, 25 mL of TiO2 Wash 2 Solution, and 25 mL of TiO2 Elution Solution.

The SP-125-96 kit contains 96 TiO2 ProteaTips for 10-200 µL volumes, 50 mL TiO2 Reconstitution and Wash 1 Solution, 50 mL of TiO2 Wash 2 solution, and 50 mL of TiO2 Elution solution.

Data Sets
Enrichment of phosphopeptides using Titanium Dioxide ProteaTips:

A sample of 100µg bovine β-casein was enzymatically digested in solution overnight with trypsin using ammonium bicarbonate buffer system. An aliquot containing 1µg of digest was processed using a C18 ProteaTip and 0.2µg aliquot processed using a TiO2 ProteaTip. The resulting MS spectra obtained are shown in Figure 1 below. A total of 30 MS/MS spectra of the most intense peaks in the MS spectra from both tips were collected and and phosphopeptides identified from these.
