Product Overview
Ultrapure 2,6-dihydroxyacetophenone (DHAP) is a recrystallized matrix for matrix assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry. DHAP is the matrix of choice for protein profiling using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, and it has a reduced sensitivity to the presence of salts in protein samples.
